What Makes Me a One Percent Marketer?

Before I go into details, I should explain why most marketers provide mediocre services.

It’s not as simple as classifying people as bad marketers… uneducated… unskilled… or even untalented.

Mediocre services are provided by all kinds of people. From every background you can think of.

It’s not as easy as saying “they’re a non-native speaker with no knowledge of the culture”. Or that their only training is a couple of 20-minute YouTube videos.

Of course, you’ll find tons of people that fit those descriptions. But the problem also includes established agencies, marketing graduates, and marketers with decades of experience.

So, it’s not actually their background or training that results in the provision of mediocre services

It’s the ‘economic trap’ they’re all caught in. A trap responsible for the ineffective services they deliver.

Experienced and inexperienced marketers are all competing for the same cheap jobs. Outbidding each other in a race to the bottom.

Because the compensation is so low, it’s not economically viable for them to provide exceptional work.

Think about it… you accept a job for $400 and promise the very best service and exceptional results.

In the real world, that means investing hours every day to deliver.

You’ve probably tried some form of marketing yourself. You know it takes time, whether it’s writing content, setting up ads, or building your subscriber base.

Beyond the basics, you need to invest quality time in research, engagement, optimisation, campaign management… and so on.

Research is crucial to every aspect of marketing, not just copywriting, and the more you do, the more you uncover the gold which sets you up for success.

And do you think the marketer who took your $400 is prepared to do any of that… even once, let alone consistently every month? …

Not very likely because it would take them all month to do and restrict their earnings to just your $400 fee.

So, they use templated services!

They place you on a client conveyor belt with as many new clients as they can find…

They know your lifetime value is low

They know you’ll soon discover they’ve done nothing to increase your revenue

And they know you’ll just move on to the next mediocre marketer to repeat the cycle.

Which is why you’re still struggling to build a successful business.

If your marketing fails, then your business fails, it’s as simple as that.

Think of good marketing as oxygen for your business, but until now, you’ve been sucking on the exhaust pipe!

So, What’s One Percent Marketing?

One percent marketing is:

✔️ Using real psychology vs. basic tactics. Instead of simply offering your services, you condition the prospect to trust your brand and desire your product.

✔️ Telling the story that’s already in their head. This stops your marketing from feeling forced. With elite copywriting, the prospect thinks it’s their idea, which removes the usual sales pressure.

✔️ Using pinpoint targeting instead of focusing on everyone. A message written for a specific audience is always more effective. When you place that message in front of the right people, your results are superior, and your campaigns are more efficient.

✔️ Learning from legends. Even if a marketer knows the legends, they’re unlikely to invest $5,000+ in an elite course or seminar. They simply don’t have the time or budget to provide ‘one percent’ services when they’re caught in the economic trap.

I personally have access to $250k+ worth of elite training from the very best in the business, past and present.

I wouldn’t be a fraction of the marketer I am without it.

✔️ Performing extensive research over days and weeks. This is the opposite of the one-hour, surface-level research that only provides basic data.

With quality research, every aspect of your business gets better: your marketing, your content, and most importantly, your results.

It’s the most crucial component for success.

Think back to that $400 marketer. That fee wouldn’t even come close to covering the cost of elite research alone.

That’s why so little is ever performed. And it’s why their results are so mediocre.

✔️ Developing a deep audience understanding. This is the natural result of extensive research.

✔️ Storytelling with genuine emotion. It requires elite training and a deep understanding of psychology – skills most don’t possess.

But it’s very powerful when skilfully woven throughout your marketing campaigns and messaging.

Storytelling is in our DNA.

✔️ Catching your audience’s attention with real substance, not clickbait. Everywhere you look, businesses try to manipulate you with sensationalised headlines. It’s a sneaky tactic that damages their reputation.

No one enjoys being manipulated. So even if the clickbait gets the click, the victory is short-lived. Bounce rates explode, while engagement plummets… the moment people realise, they’ve been misled. They lose respect. And interest.

This is bad for business. Poor engagement hurts you when platforms like Google and YouTube penalise your content.

But when you use real substance, you stand out. You command trust and respect instantly. And you’re far more likely to gain loyal customers.

✔️ Selling without selling is a secret weapon. Because despite a prospect’s interest, NO ONE wants to be sold to. It’s why we instinctively say ‘no’ before even hearing an offer.

This is often achieved through ‘one percent’ storytelling. It lets a prospect see and feel how your product solves problems for businesses just like theirs, without you ever having to ask for the sale.

When done correctly, your prospect begs for access before you’ve had the chance to offer it.

✔️ Providing value-first content/products. This means creating what your audience needs, instead of creating something and trying to push it on everyone.

When you put customers first, two things happen. First, demand and sales increase because your offer is more relevant. Second, your audience become devoted fans – which is far more powerful than a regular customer base.

Fans align with your brand. They promote your services. They open your emails, buy your products, and engage with your company.

Your social media, reach, and popularity explode. You’re no longer just a forgettable service provider. Instead, your audience identifies with your brand and feel a sense of pride in the affiliation.

You don’t get this from the cookie-cutter content that mediocre marketers provide. Without extensive research, expert storytelling, and a deep understanding of your audience, none of this is possible. No matter how many marketers you hire.

That’s why you might have read about something like this, but you’ve never experienced it.

EUREKA! I’ve Needed This for so Long…

I could go on, but the point should be clear by now. You’ve potentially had the ‘ah ha’ moment as to why your marketing has never truly been successful.

Not long ago, the landscape was filled with millions of mediocre marketers. Now, AI has come along and set a new standard for mediocrity. This means there could soon be a billion people offering the same templated services, with zero knowledge of marketing or culture.

This makes it even harder to find true ‘one percent’ marketers in a marketplace flooded with substandard services.

Elite and original marketing has become more valuable than ever before given this recent development. If you want to understand why AI has increased the value and need for one percent marketing, then read this article.

I provide quality over quantity, and there are only so many projects and clients I can work with at any particular time.

I don’t offer pre-packaged services, and my availability is limited.

If you’re ready to stop feeding your business exhaust fumes… and give it the oxygen it needs to flourish

Then apply for an assessment. I’ll review your project to see if we’re a match. If we are, we can begin transforming your business. If I’m too busy, I can add you to my waiting list.

If I can only add you to the list for the time being, I would advise you avoid doing any marketing in the meantime while you wait.

You’re not just damaging your business and reputation. You’re also burning out your audience, who will soon become immune to your efforts.

The break/pause in your marketing will help to reset any damage already done, and it will give me some space in which to work my magic.

YOU’RE HERE BECAUSE…

MY WEBSITE SUCKS

I’ve got a state-of-the-art website, that does nothing more than polish my ego.

I get plenty of traffic, but my site is more like a highway than a service station… plenty of people whizzing by without stopping.

WORDS DON'T SELL!

I couldn’t sell a heater to an Eskimo during the harshest winter!

I’ve hired ‘expert’ copywriters that were supposed to make my offer irresistible… but I can’t give my services away FOR FREE!

WHAT EMAIL?

There’s more chance that someone will open a wormhole to Asgard, than one of my emails!

I have more people on my email list than populations of some countries… but why don’t they read my messages?
