Here, in the well-trodden clearing where the ambitious gather, we find a fully grown Mediogre™… Chad, as we’ve come to know him.
He belongs to a breed rather unglamorously classified as the Guru Mediogre™.
He has not seen us. Good.
At first glance, he appears unremarkable and like all Mediogres™, he wears a rather unflattering rug perched raggedly on his bonnet. Our best guess is they must think it makes them appear more impressive… but it’s fooling no one!
Guru Mediogres™ are notorious for their shiny adornments and Chad here is no different… look as his gold watch sparkles and shimmers in the light…
Uh oh… Chad has found a mirror so now we could be here all day… Gurus love nothing more than admiring their reflection… oh dear!
Here we catch up with Chad at this rather luxurious Airbnb mansion that he’s rented for the afternoon.
Let’s watch while he poses for a selfie from the balcony overlooking the swimming pool… and what’s he doing now?… ah yes, he needs to keep changing his attire as we wouldn’t want people to think he doesn’t really live here… would we Chad?… quite.
One last dip in the pool for a party pose before making his exit.
Back in his own, more modest nest… Chad is up to his mischief again.
He’s holding an image of a celebrity marketer presenting awards on stage… but look at what cheeky Chad is doing… he’s Photoshopping himself onto the image… haha… this is the first time this ritual has been caught on camera – a rare treat for us.
Now he can hang the picture on his wall, and no one will know the difference – Gurus are plucky creatures who won’t let reality stand in their way.
